Dream #1: The bewitched plant

Share: Here is a dream of Annie, my daughter who is now 10 years old.

Dream: Émilie and I (Annie) had bought some plants. We had read in the newspaper that a gentleman had bought the same plant as us and that it was bewitched: it had set fire to the gentleman's house. I was scared but this plant was so “cute” that Émilie said it couldn't do any harm. In our house, the toilet was in the basement. I was afraid of the basement. In fact, because of the plants I bought, I was afraid of being alone in the house. Several times this scene repeats itself in the dream when I am in the toilet I hear noises. So, a shadow follows me. I go up the stairs. As I'm on the stairs, the lights go out. But I manage to get to the top. One day, the gentleman who took care of our plants (the ones outside) told us that the plant had died (the same one that had set the house on fire). Emilie is sad. But I'm happy, unlike her.
