Dream #1: Counterfeit cookies

Dream: I saw myself on the dike near my maternal hometown where I was born.

Strangely, at that moment, there was a dense fog on the road, making everyone excited to go out and see this scene.

I was running all over the dike cutting the grass. Then I saw people hurriedly packing their clothes and belongings, preparing to go home.

At that moment, I was running back and forth to wash my hair, but I hadn't finished.

When I bent down to wash my hair, I could clearly see the road to my house. I thought to myself that my house was so close that there was no need to pack my things quickly. The sky was getting darker and darker. Everyone finished packing and prepared to go home.

I didn't pack anything, thinking that if I needed anything, I could come back for it tomorrow, since my house was nearby.

Then I leisurely picked up my phone and went to the dike and met many old friends, including Alice (arrogant, materialistic) who was in the same class as me in high school. She was surprised and said that I had gained weight lately, especially in my legs. That made me confused about my appearance. The thought of jogging crossed my mind.

Strangely, there were many abandoned phones on the dyke, including mine. I quickly picked them up and left with a female friend I barely knew. At that moment, a white car appeared. For some unknown reason, the other girl and I sensed danger and ran quickly to escape.

I ran through many rice fields, weaving through every corner.

When I got close to home, I was afraid of implicating the other members, so I kept running.

But in the end, I rushed into the house anyway.

When my parents saw me, they asked if I was home. They didn't realize I was in danger. They were still busy welcoming guests.

I continued to hide in alleys and behind walls when there were lots of people and noise.

Everyone was busy helping someone who was choking on a durian (a very sweet fruit).

When I rushed over to see what was happening, I heard that it had something to do with a DGAL candy incident* and a case of manufacturing counterfeit food products.

Sharing: *(…) DGAL = Direction générale de l’alimentation (General Alimentation Direction, FRANCE) is the main organization responsible for food safety in France, across the entire food chain, for both human and animal consumption.
