Sharing: An exchange with our son

Parents share: Our 5 and a half year old son wonders a lot about his future, especially about the job he will do when he is an adult. For several months now he has been telling us that later he will do three jobs: story inventor, spy and handyman. And last week, he shared with me that when he thinks about the job he will do in the future, there are images that appear in his head. These images depict beautiful landscapes with tall trees. Some with orange leaves and others with gold leaves. And since that day, he has asked me to explain to him what destiny is. How to answer it?

Dream #1: An American trucker

The Dream: I am driving on the right on Highway 20, in front there is a car and two trailer trucks. The car in front of me tries to overtake the 2nd truck but the latter starts to swerve and partially blocks the left lane, then it takes the right lane, the motorist manages to pass, now it's me who is behind. I can see that he is carrying chicks in wooden crates painted black. I want to pass him in turn, but he makes a left turn to enter the courtyard of a company. It's a slaughterhouse. I'm shooting too. This trucker is American. As soon as he enters the yard, a man comes to meet him, he looks like a foreman, he is not very nice, he speaks to him with too much authority, he threatens him that he will not unload his truck or that he will not be paid, etc... I sense worry in the trucker but also that he does not want to let this happen. suddenly I realize that I work there as a secretary. I get out of my car and walk towards the office, the trucker gets out of his truck and walks behind me, then he grabs my right arm so I go in with him. Looks like he thinks I'm like the foreman. I want to help him because I find the way he was treated unfair, but I can't accept that he squeezes my arm like this, so I firmly tell him to let go of me, I have to tell him several times in raising my voice a little more each time and I end up telling him that I want to help him but he has to let go of my arm first. He releases his grip, we enter the office, he picks up the phone and calls someone higher up in the company and explains the situation. From inside the office, I notice that there are 2 doors. I close them so that his conversation is not heard by the Foreman.
