Dream #1: Mission in Burkina Faso

Sharing: Here are two dreams received by my son's friend, both students, concerning their new departure on a mission to Burkina Faso (they had already left last year). Camélia, very invested in this mission, is disturbed by the first dream she received and since then doubts whether it is right to leave. “She doesn’t feel it.”

I was summoned by the dean of the faculty regarding the trip to Burkina Faso. He tried to convince me that it wasn't a good idea... It made me very anxious and made me doubt. I explained to him that I needed it, that it was important to me, that it allowed me to live in the present moment. That it was something wonderful. He made me understand that if I did that it was to prove something to others and that I was putting myself in danger. That I didn't think about the people who loved me. Then... I told him about an island in Burkina, in a huge, beautiful lake. I was convinced of the merits of my speech, but his oppressed me. And there he showed me something as if we had been thrown into water. I couldn't breathe, the water was very dark and dirty. It was an endless ocean, I knew there was no end and I was terrified. And there, two huge plastic bottles passed by, a large one and a small one that swam like whales. I thought it was whales, I thought about pollution, and I felt sad and anxious about all this environmental destruction. Afterwards I found myself in a hospital on top of a mountain. And I don't really know what I was doing there anymore... There was a gentleman with bladder cancer who had a very affected and infected urethra. Like he was completely dry. I ended up seeing the vice-dean to talk to her about the misogynistic social pressure, telling her that these little discriminations were weighing on me. And I woke up.

Sharing: When I woke up I told myself it was better not to leave. And go somewhere else :)

2nd dream: World map with a very clear black boundary. A man explained to me that it was nothingness, the limit of the world, that behind it there was nothing, everything was so small, reduced. I found myself in a helicopter flying over this tiny world, in the form of a black and blue map, and having to jump into the ocean... And there I found myself in a very dark, very dark ocean. I panicked, I was swimming in the navy blue water, and there were huge, huge, white whales and aquatic mammals. It was infinitely deep and cold.
