Dream #1: The cat and the monkey

Dream: I dreamed that my husband and I were in a car and arrived at a place I didn't recognize. It was a flat area with a large tree, perhaps a maple, and it appeared as trees do at this time of year, without any leaves. The branches stood out against the gray sky. I opened the car door, got out and our cat jumped out. I smiled as she happily ran forward and up the tree. She jumped from branch to branch and I suddenly realized there was another animal in the tree. She tried to play with what turned out to be a small monkey. The monkey was very distraught and our cat seemed confused because she just wanted to play.

At that point, I realized that the mother monkey was coming back up the tree and seemed determined to get to our cat to protect her baby. I asked my husband to hurry up and save our cat, but it was too late. We watched in horror as the mother monkey jumped up on the branch next to our cat and reached into our cat's chest to rip out her heart. She is such a sweet, gentle little cat, and it made me deeply sad to see such a thing happen. I felt so bad that I couldn't save her.

Dream #2: Logic or spontaneity

Dream: There are many students. Some are tribesmen and some are modern people. They are all working on repairing the memory of their computers.
I am surprised that tribal students are able to understand the concept of memory. They were very spontaneous. The modern students used logic rather than spontaneity. They would say, for any problem, just go back. Go back. That is logic. The tribal students used spontaneity to solve this problem, they said for any problem, the memory has to be cleared. This almost worked for both groups. For the tribals, there was a small problem with getting the memory back into the slot. I ask them a question, "In what scenarios would you choose logic over spontaneity?"
